The Beginning of Our Artisan Tradition


In September 2002, Antonio Rojas, our master craftsman with over 35 years of experience in sausage making, decided to start his own business under the Embutidos Calentejo brand. With the help of his family, Antonio managed to consolidate a company that has been recognized for its quality and authenticity, earning the title of "Artisan Company" awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Region of Murcia.

We make gluten-free and lactose-free sausages using top-quality spices and recipes perfected over the years. Our production process combines tradition with modern facilities and strict health controls, allowing us to offer artisanal products with an unparalleled flavor.

Second Generation and Family Expansion


Today, the second generation of the family, led by Jose Joaquín in production and Martin as manager of our stores, continues the legacy of quality and excellence. In addition to our products, we have added a selection of cheeses with designation of origin, salted meats, pickles, and a wide range of knife-cut hams, which has positioned us as one of the best ham producers in the Region of Murcia.
